Our 5U Industrial Hybrid Digital Video Recorder systems improve upon our Industrial DVR systems to deliver the same performance as our Industrial DVR line, but with increased fault tolerance with hardware RAID storage systems and optional RAID6 configuration. Featuring two quad core Xeon processors (eight-way processing), dual redundant power supply, dual gigabit ethernet ports, and hotswap hard drives in a self-healing RAID 5 (or optional RAID6) video storage system, our 5U Industrial DVR models are meant for facilities where high availability and massive CCTV video storage is critical. Also, unlike many other makes of DVRs, our DVR systems can display live monitoring at resolutions up to 1920x1200. Viewing a matrix of 16 cameras simultaneously at 1920x1200 on a 24" monitor provides a clearer and more detailed view of each camera compared to most other DVRs which are limited to 640x480 or 1024x768 monitoring. All of our 5U Industrial DVR models provide 16 channels NTSC (or PAL) video input, 16 channels of audio input, composite output, immediate access to any captured video (no having to fast forward or rewind through hours of footage), and advanced object and event search capabilities. Recording can be full time, based on schedule, motion sensing, events, alarm zone triggering (optional accessories required), or a combination of the above.
Note: These DVRs have massive storage systems and require good cooling for maximum reliability. Due to the cooling requirements these DVRs can be quite loud in certain environments.
